As observed by Diksha Kharbanda, there's been a shift in writing; from mere copying of the text, writing for improvement in handwriting skills and attaining punctuational accuracy to writing for expressing and communicating ideas, thoughts and a more meaningful engagement with writing. Aiming at supporting the practitioners to fist familiarise themselves with the existing scenerio, the shift and strategies to bring the shift in actual classroom practices too, this third resource book discusses "Children's writing" or "the ideas related to teaching children to express and communicate in a way that is meaningful and relevant to them" (Sinha, 2020).
