The ouch game (big) can be played between 2-4 players. The Big Ouch game can be played in 4 whacky ways that will keep you and your buddies going for hours! Detailed instructions on the different methods in which the game can be played are mentioned at the back of the game box & also listed below for your reference.
There are 4 ways in which this game can be played. Choose your pick or try them all! Let the fun begin:
Game 1: Ouch!
Insert the sticks in to the bowl.
Place it on to the tower unit. Refer to the assembly instructions at the back of the. (Extremely easy assembly!)
Put all the marbles into the bowl along with the two white marbles
Each player gets a turn to stake an Ouch! stick out. Here's the challenge - be sure about which Ouch! stick you wish to pull out because there's no way you can change your mind and pull out another stick. Do it patiently.
Once one player has finishes playing, the next player must shift the open slot in the flat base towards himself to let the falling marbles collect in his or her tray.
The player with the least number of marbles in the tray is the winner.
Game 2: White Ball
Follow the rules of Ouch! but with one change - remember the white marbles! Well, if it lands in your tray, you stand to gain. How ? Just minus five marbles from your marble total at the end. Yippie!
You can add another twist with the white marbles - add five marbles to your marble total at the end. Ooops!
Game 3: Twisty Trays
To begin with, follow the rules of Ouch! but this time when the white marble falls, the players must switch places clock-wise. Remember to put the fallen marbles in your tray first. Now each player gets the tray that belongs to the player on his right & of course with all the marbles in it!
Game 4: Sticky Sticks
Before inserting the sticks, each player must select any one colour.
Insert sticks carefully. Follow the other rules of Ouch!
You can only remove the sticks of the colour you've chosen until the game ends.
When only two players are playing they can choose one colour each. Of three players are playing sticks of the fourth colour can be removed only after the sticks of selected three colours are exhausted.
Try something different here - all players should complete removing sticks of a single colour & then move on to the next colour.
