Original Ticket to Ride Europe is an exciting train adventure game set in Europe. It is an expansion of the Ticket to Ride board game series and offers players a chance to explore and experience Europe by train. The game is suitable for younger audiences as well, with Ticket to Ride First Journey being a great introductory version. In Ticket to Ride Europe, players collect train cards, claim routes on the map, and try to connect the cities shown on their tickets. The game board displays a map of Europe, and players start with four colored train cards and two tickets. The objective is to connect the two cities shown on each ticket with a contiguous path of your trains. On a turn, you either draw two train cards from the deck or discard train cards to claim a route between two cities. If you connect the two cities shown on a ticket, reveal the ticket, place it face up in front of you, and draw a new ticket. The first player to complete six tickets wins, or whoever has placed all twenty of their trains on the game board with the most completed tickets.
